I began playing/studying the cello at the age of 12, performing with various youth orchestras and ensembles until the age of 18. At that time my musical career took a different turn, and my informal music studies began in earnest.

Having been a child of r&b, jazz, rock-and-roll, country, and other musical influences and with the urging of friends to simply jam, my improvisational skills grew enormously. Along with the cello, I also play guitar and sing.

I have performed and recorded with a variety of bands and projects over the years. Most recently I have been collaborating with David J, founding member of Bauhaus and Love & Rockets.
